Get the app
Download Scriben and sign in. Available on iPhone now; Android is coming soon.

Wake the pen
Press the clip button once. The light blinks blue when the pen is ready to pair.

Tap Connect Pen
Open the app, hold the pen next to your phone, and tap Connect Pen. The light turns solid blue when connected.

Start recording
Hold the clip button for 3 seconds. The light turns solid red. Hold again for 3 seconds to stop. Recordings sync the next time the app is open.
What the light means
- Blinking blue: ready to pair
- Solid blue: connected
- Solid red: recording
- Solid purple: charging or syncing
- Blinking purple: battery low
Not connecting?
The app can't find the pen
Check Bluetooth is on, close and reopen the app, press the clip button once to wake the pen, then tap Connect Pen again.
Recordings aren't showing up
Open the app with the pen nearby. Sync starts automatically when the app sees the pen.
